The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Early Childhood Curriculum Project provides guidance to child care and other non-public early childhood programs on curricular resources.
The State-recommended resources for four- and five-year old children are aligned with Maryland’s pre-kindergarten and kindergarten College and Career Ready Standards. For birth through three-year-old children, the recommended resources align with Healthy Beginnings: Supporting Development and Learning from Birth Through Three Years of Age (PDF).
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), responsible for early care and education programs throughout the state, has updated its recommended list of early childhood curricula for 3 and 4 year olds for child care, Head Start programs, and nursery schools.
