Degree Programs

Associate and Bachelor’s Degree Programs

When pursuing a degree, make sure the institution of higher learning is recognized as an accredited college or university by the U.S. Department of Education.

Institutions with an asterisk* participate in the Child Care Career and Professional Development Fund (CCCPDF). For child care providers and staff who are participating in the Maryland Child Care Credentialing Program, scholarship funding is available through the CCCPDF to pursue a college degree in:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Child Development
  • Elementary Education
  • Special Education

The fund does not reimburse participants as the payments are made directly to the college or university. MSDE will notify applicants of whether or not they have received fund approval.
