Health and Safety Training registration will be closed September 15 at 3:00pm until September 22 at 8:00am.
Beginning September 22, 2017, the Basic Health and Safety Online Training will be run in sessions/cohorts. Registration will be open between September 22 and noon September 29. The training class will be open to all participants registered during this registration window beginning October 1, 2017.
Participants will have two (2) weeks to complete the training and will receive a certificate of completion immediately following successful completion of the Knowledge Check. Registrants that do not complete the training during the session for which they are registered will be removed from the system and will be required to re-register in order to access the training.
Once a session closes, all registrants will be removed from the system and will no longer have access. It is important that participants print their certificate prior to the session closing.
Once cohorts are established, providers will only be able to register during open registration windows. If a potential provider misses an open registration window, they will either have to wait for the next registration window or obtain the training from an approved face-to-face trainer. The registration and cohort schedule for the remainder of 2017 is as follows:
October cohort - Registration is open September 22-29
October cohort must complete training between October 1-October 15. Course account will remain open until October 18 to allow additional time to print certificate of completion before October cohort is removed from the system on October 19. All registrants in the October cohort will be removed from the system on October 19.
November cohort - Registration is open October 20-27
November cohort must complete training between November 1-November 15. Course account will remain open until November 20 to allow additional time to print certificate of completion before November cohort is removed from the system on November 21. All registrants in the November cohort will be removed from the system on November 21.
December cohort - Registration is open November 22-30
December cohort must complete training between December 1-December 15. Course account will remain open until December 21 to allow additional time to print certificate of completion prior to being removed from the system on December 22. All registrants in the December cohort will be removed from the system on December 22.
We continually work to improve this system while still attempting to offer the training at no cost to providers. The Learning Management System (Blackboard) has limited capabilities.
